0176 Pending Legislation

Wednesday, April 25th, 2012

0176 – A requirement that the parenting plan explicitly state the parties’ residences addresses.

Although the court will change the form, mediators should be aware of this, as we often draft our own plans in private cases, and use older forms at court until they are used up. What do Aikido, Homer’s Iliad and Existential Philosophy have to do with mediation???

Wednesday, April 25th, 2012

Find out April 27 when Attorney Joseph Caulfield teaches a workshop on understanding emotion and managing aggression inside and outside the mediative process through the dynamic principles of the Japanese martial art, Aikido.

You’ll want to swap out the heels and neckties for comfortable duds so you can practice some physical centering and evasive movements of Aikido. The activity level would be equivalent to attending a beginner’s dance class. Participation is voluntary.

This workshop has been approved for 4 hours continuing education credit (Other) by the NH Family Mediator Certification Board.

Location: Horseshoe Pond, Concord, NH
Time Schedule: 8:30 to 1:30
